About Janette DuCharme

Montreal-born Deborah Duchene portrays the sensual and voluptuous vampire Janette, who was once the lover and longing companion of Nick Knight/Nicholas de Brabant in Forever Knight. Janette is the 1,000 year old daughter of LaCroix, Nick and Janette's vampire master and creator. She runs a nightclub in Toronto called the "Raven," which is her haven for stray vampires. Janette often provides Nick with help and comfort through his mortal career as a cop. She was married to Nick for 97 years and their love often rekindles throughout the series.
